Details

The rear cross sill is located below the tailgate. It ties the back of the bed together by being bolted crosswise from one bed side to the other. This rear sill is made for 6 strips and 7 boards. The bed-to-frame bolt passes through holes in the top surface which supports the wood boards. Cut out areas on the rear face provide clearance for the bumper brackets. All holes are punched and small brackets and braces are welded as original. Wood blocks placed inside the rear sill are sold separately. Made in Oklahoma City, USA.

The rear cross sill is located below the tailgate. It ties the back of the bed together by being bolted crosswise from one bed side to the other. The Ford rear sill has "brackets" riveted in place and holes for mounting strips and wood. The bed-to- frame bolt passes through the brackets as it bolts the rear sill to the frame. The strips and wood sit on the rear sill, leaving the ends of the wood exposed.
